Name:	Atheros Configuration Service (ACS)

Description:	Atheros Configuration Service (ACS) is a service that handles wireless configuration and authentication. It is an alternate to the built-in Windows Wireless Zero Config (WZC) service.

Notes:	When in use, Windows Wireless Zero Config (WZC) will be disabled. ACS does not have a user interface. It relies on other user interfaces, such as Atheros Client Utility or D-Link AirPlus Utility.

Values:	Enabled When enabled, ACS will handle all wireless configuration and authentication rather than Windows. Disabled When disabled, Windows will handle all wireless configuration and authentication.


Default Value:	Uninstalled

Recommended Setting:	Disabled

Cloudpath Help :	Normally, Cloudpath will migrate users away from Atheros-based utilities without permanently disabling the Atheros service. Under certain circumstances, you may wish to disable it completely. If so, this setting will allow you to do so.
