This is the most basic setting for enabling 802.1X in Windows. If you want to turn 802.1X on, check this box.
Notes:
Since 802.1X is handled by the Wireless Zero Config service (for wired and wireless), it must be running for this setting's tab to be available. If the 'Authentication' tab does not appear, start WZCSVC.
For wireless SSIDs that utilize WPA, this is checked and not editable.

Supported settings include:
Disabled - Default. When selected, Windows will have the IPv6 protocol disabled.
Enabled - When selected, Windows will have the IPv6 protocol enabled.
